E. Scott Santi, 64, has served as Non-Executive Chairman of ITW since March 1, 2024. Previously, he served as Chairman since May 2015 and Chief Executive Officer from November 2012 until his retirement as CEO in January 2024. He served as Vice Chairman from December 2008 to October 2012 and Executive Vice President from October 2004 to December 2008. He has served as a director of ITW since November 2012 and currently serves as a director of W.W. Grainger, Inc., where he is the Lead Director, member of the Audit Committee and Chair of the Board Affairs and Nominating Committee. He has not been a director of any other publicly traded company in the last five years. Mr. Santi also serves on the boards of numerous civic and not-for-profit organizations.
